The drawings and sketches form the basis for the paintings. Their purpose is to inform the eye and mind about the environment which can be abstracted into refined images on canvas. Drawings in crayon are made on location, the acrylic sketches in the studio are from drawings.

The prints are from plates which are hand made by the artist, in low editions or monotype, on 250g paper. The plates are either collagraphs that are made up on card with a variety of textures, or etchings on metal plates.
